Joahnn shares the same name as his oldest brother. The elder Johann appears to have died in infancy. The archives give the appearance that this Johann lived a full life, but I only saw birth records. This Johann was born with the help of midwife Anna Stieger. He was baptized on the day he was born in Moletein by priest Johann Brosig. His godparents were Franz Casar, from Rippau (Repova) and Teresa Knorr, the widow of Johann Knorr, a farmer in Wojes (Svojanov).
