In the summer of 1999, Marie Driscoll (contact her at omamarie@att.net) brought it to my attention there existed a book about a tiny village located in the Czech Republic. This village was called Alt-Moletein. The book was written in German, but I still requested a copy. She graciously copied all of the pages and sent it to me. I was happy to hear about the book, but what gave me goosebumps was the information Marie told me about before I even got it. Marie had gone through the book when she got it and had made a list of surnames in tbe book. The book contained individuals from the following families: SCHAD, JARMER, GIESSEL (likely Gieselman), and NIMMERFROH. Wow!! This fact alone nearly solidifies the belief that this town is the one we have sought since the beginning.
Since learning about the book, my grandfather and I have had the book tranlated in English. I have put this book online. It is available for download, free of charge. All I ask of you is to drop me a line and let me know you downloaded it, and also let me know if you find any link between your family and mine.
You will need the following programs to view the book: Adobe Acrobat Reader and WinZip. You need WinZip to get access to the file (I've made the file smaller to download it easier), and you need Acrobat Reader to actually view the book.

THANK YOU & ENJOY!!
